As Covid-19 vaccinations are now taking place in the UK, the scammers have of course jumped on the bandwagon and are trying to get people to pay for a spoof vaccine – the proper vaccine is FREE so this is definitely a scam. Please see below information from Humberside Police and be mindful of this scam text message which takes you to a website that asks you to input your bank details.

Some people have also had telephone calls offering them a vaccine for a price. This again is a scam, your Doctor’s surgery are the ones who will contact you re a FREE vaccine at the point that your priority group is eligible to receive it.
