North Yorkshire County Council’s Adult Learning and Skills Service offers courses across the whole County. To find a course in your area please click on the link here which takes you to the Adult Learning and Skills Service website. There you will find a button saying Launch Course Finder which will allow you to search for a course in your area. You will also be able to view a PDF version of the area prospectus from the same page.
Please note that not all the courses we offer are available to view or enrol on line especially if the course is related to developing work skills. If you are interested in improving your skills to help you move into work or to develop your opportunities if you are in work please contact your local area office who will be happy to put you in touch with one of our Learning and Skills Advisers. You can contact your local area office by email or telephone.

Learning at your Library...
North Yorkshire Libraries understand that if people want to develop their skills, improve their employment prospects or just learn for fun, formal courses aren’t for everyone. Learning is something we all do throughout our lives and can be something we dip into and do at our own pace, without the pressure of exams and accreditation. Libraries offer opportunities to help you on your informal learning journey.
All North Yorkshire’s libraries are registered UK-
